I love coming here for breakfast. The food is delicious. I order the avocado breakfast sandwich with bacon. It's a bit on the expensive side but you will enjoy every bite. When you walk in you view the parade of pan in the glass cases. They're all so bright and beautiful. It's hard to pick just one. I prefer this location because parking is easier and there isn't a long line out the door like the downtown location. Definitely great place to meet friends or colleagues.

Concha's are one of a kind, the sugar frosting is a thin coat layer that wraps entirely around the pan dulce.

This is *THE* place to experience the true flavors of Mexico. Let's start with the torta de milanesa with fideo. The chicken milanesa is juicy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. And that telera--*my friends*--it's soft as a cloud on the inside, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. It's the kind of bread you dream about. Now, let's talk about the pan dulce... **WOW**. This pan dulce is so beautiful, it belongs in an art gallery. Visually, it's a masterpiece, and flavor-wise, it outshines any pan dulce you've ever had. Soft, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that takes everything you thought you knew about bread and blows it out of the water. It's as if someone took the essence of heaven and baked it into each soft, delicate pastry. Yes, the line can get long, and if you're in a big group, seating might be a challenge when it's packed. But trust me, don't let that scare you away. The food here is more than worth the wait, and the service is always top-notch. The prices are a little on the high side, but every penny is an investment in pure, unadulterated deliciousness. Come hungry, come with an open mind, and get ready to experience flavors that will stick with you long after the meal is over.

To start, we are very big fans of Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. We were not aware that this particular cafe was on Guy Fieri's show, but we were found out we were excited about how good the pastries and coffee could be! Our high hopes we had for the food was surpassed exponentially the minute we tried the food. Me and my husband both ordered the Mexican Cubana and each got a side. We both LOVED the crispy croissant bun; the meat was flavorful and had the perfect amount of cheese to make it truly an amazing sandwich. My husband had the bean soup as a side which he rated a 6/10 because he said it was just beans and it lacked some flavor. I ordered the house salad and it came with a side of avocado lime dressing I believe. In my opinion the salad itself was good but the dressing was quite tangy which I personally am not the biggest fan of. After finishing both of our meals, we tried each of the three pastries we ordered in their quite long but fast paced line; you come in contact with as soon as you enter the Cafe. We both started with a piece of the blueberry pastry. My husband loved the soft dough and the flavor of the fruit, I personally enjoyed the powdered sugar dough it was the perfect consistency. However if you are not much of a fruit pastry person I would not get this particular one. Next we tried the Nutella Cruffin. We both loved this cute pastry idea and knew we both had to try it before leaving as true chocolate lovers. From the first bite we realized the chocolate on top is more of a whipped mousse rather than a thicker consistency icing. The middle is filled with the perfect thick Nutella filling which I will add (they are not shy on) there is plenty of the Nutella to compensate for the amount of dough! I was not the biggest fan of the mousse but the middle was delicious and it something I would come back for! Lastly the mini cheesecake( my personal favorite) We weren't sure what to expect initially but once we tried it the dessert was perfect in flavor, creamy, the fruit was fresh, and the crust was crispy but soft and sweet. A dessert we will definitely come back in future times for! All around La Panadería Café was a great experience, one of the best pastry and coffee locations and a returning destination for sure. The only complaint we have is the size and space inside because it does get quite loud at times. We look forward to coming again and giving reviews on new pastries and sandwiches!

Met a friend here for coffee and I have to say that I am quite embarrassed to say that I have been in San Antonio for close to 8 years and this is my first time at a La Panaderia. It was amazing, why have I not been here before???? The coffee was delicious and my Mexican Cubana sandwich was mouth watering - I had never had the Black Bean soup before and I am pretty sure I finished that first. You place your order at the counter and find a seat. Lots of open seating available with extremely friendly staff. I will definitely return to this cafe as I have clearly been missing out!

Soooo good! I saw this place online and wanted to check it out and it's better than what I expected! You wait in line to order, but can get the conchas and desserts right away. We ate the desserts before eating the main entrees first haha. What we got: -red velvet concha-has Nutella and vanilla cream -tres leches -key lime apple tart -matcha latte -ranchero eggs Benedict The matcha latte came out extremely late. I already finished eating all my food by the time it arrived. However, I was impressed with the quality and service even with a packed cafe. Servers are friendly and answered all our questions. The food is all really fresh and delicious-I definitely wanna be back! There are three locations in San Antonio. Parking lot is small.

I know I've already left a review, but I'm absolutely in love with my recent pastry run! This time, I tried their KA RELLENO pastries: Strawberry-Hibiscus, Guava, and Passion Fruit. The flavors were soooo onolicious--each bite was pure bliss! As a Dominican Hawaiian family, I was thrilled to see the fusion of languages and use of "KA" (ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi) in their menu. La Panadería has definitely mastered the art of blending flavors with cultural authenticity. These pastries are a must-try!

We absolutely love this place! It was our first stop from the airport & we were here every day of our stay in San Antonio. The friendliest staff, most efficient service and the best pastries and coffee I've had in forever!!! Everything we had was good! And believe me we tried a lot! Great family environment any time of the day! Something for everyone! If you haven't been here you are missing out! Pay them a visit and let me know what you think... I promise you will not be disappointed! Now I just have to figure out how to bring them to Maryland

My nephew and his family came to San Antonio for the long weekend and we met up @lapanaderia Broadway for lunch today. Dad had the Lemon Acai Drink, Hubby and I both had Iced Latte, and Grace had the Cafe Miel. Dad recognized that we were here for the @itsagreatdaysa segment before and he wanted to have what he ate then, which was the El Favorito Sunny Side Up with fideo. Hubby had the El Favorito Sunny Side Up with bacon and black beans. I had the El Favorito Sunny Side Up with turkey, bacon, and fideo. Grace, Timmy, and the kids shared the Ranchero Eggs Benedictine and Tequila CroLuna French Toast. I had the Key Lime Mousse too. We all enjoyed our food, and Dad and I brought home leftovers. Of course, we had some pastries to go too!
